18 pt Cardstock

18pt cardstock (400gsm paperboard) is considered ideal for those products that require premium presentation and protection. It’s available in uncoated form, SBS C1S, and SBS C2S form, and supports simple to high-gloss printing as well as premium finishes.

What is 18pt Cardstock?

18 pt cardstock is a sturdier and thicker stock that allows full-color premium printing with gloss, high-gloss, and UV coating support. Its uncoated side will result in duller printing. The conversion of 18 pt cardstock to gsm is 400gsm. 18 pt cardstock thickness is 0.25 inches. The conversion of this stock in lbs is approximately 148 lbs and 456μ μm thickness in Microns.
Apart from the 18 pt cardstock weight and thickness, you can choose this material in various types, such as uncoated form, solid bleached sulfate single side coated (SBS C1S), and double side coated SBS C2S cardstock. You can choose any type according to your business needs to manufacture premium business cards, table tents, and luxury yet sturdy boxes for delicate products. For lighter thickness, you can choose 14 pt cardstock, and if you want extra-thick packaging, you can select 24pt cardstock.
